Information

He was born in the city of Nablus in 1935. He studied at Al-Khalidiya School, Al-Salihiyah School, and Al-Najah National College, where he completed his Jordanian secondary education with distinction in 1958. He was first in his class and among the first in the Jordanian secondary examination (Metriculation), and he was honored with those who obtained a passing certificate for education. High (M) in the city of Amman from His Majesty King Hussein, may God have mercy on him

An An-Najah University veteran - so to speak, he held the position of the oldest employee in An-Najah National Foundation, where he accompanied its development and lived at the dawn of its renaissance.

He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Law with distinction from Beirut Arab University/Alexandria University in 1977. An-Najah National University sent him on a study mission to the United States of America, where he obtained a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration with distinction in 1981, and a Doctorate degree in the same specialty with distinction in general. 1983

He held many administrative and teaching positions at An-Najah National College and An-Najah National Institute, most recently Dean of the College of Education and An-Najah National Community College in the period 1983-1992.

He supervised and discussed 42 master’s theses at An-Najah National University and Al-Quds University/Abu Dis

He has published research, the most important of which is the philosophy of higher education in the occupied Palestinian territories at the request of the Palestine Liberation Organization

Member of the Advisory Committee of the First Palestinian Conference on Mental Health and Guidance - Ambition and Challenges for the Year 2000 and Chairman of the Second Session

Coordinator for the rehabilitation of male and female teachers working in public schools in Palestinian universities, with the support of the Palestine Liberation Organization, with the support of the Palestine Liberation Organization under the Zionist occupation.

Secretary of the Mayor’s Council of An-Najah National College in the period 1971-1976

Member of many charitable, educational and community associations, including the Patient’s Friends Association, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, and the Deaf and Mute Association

He has articles and interviews in newspapers, magazines, Palestinian radio, local radio and television on many educational and social matters.

Member of the Board of Trustees of Al Rawda College of Vocational Sciences in Nablus since 2010

Rapporteur of the Committee for Reviving and Developing the Heritage of Success since 2008

He died on January 7, 2020, after a good old age and a long life spent giving and serving the community.
