The Palestinian Academy won Dr. Iman Daraghmeh received a scholarship to National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan, as part of a university scholarship fellowship program, in the field of using information technology in the medical field.
The scholarship offered to the Head of the Applied Computing Department at Palestine Technical University includes Dr. Kadoorie. Daraghmeh conducted a research exchange on the use of “BlockChain” technology in the electronic medical records system, with the aim of supporting the medical records system currently in place in Palestine, to increase the privacy and security of patient data and records.
The grant will also include training in the university’s research center, which is equipped with the latest technologies, conducting joint research and exchanging experiences with academics and experts in the field, in addition to supervising master’s students from Chiao Tung University.
