Hashem Hassan Hashem Al-Dajjani (born in the city of Amman ) is a Palestinian diplomat . He was ambassador to Zimbabwe and South Africa, and since 2020 he has served as the ambassador of the State of Palestine to Ukraine .
Academic achievement
He received a master's degree in international relations and international law from Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv in 1984.
Working life
Between 1987 and 1995, he worked as Deputy Director of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s Information Office in Finland . Between 1995 and 2006, he became Deputy Head of the Palestinian Mission to Finland , Counselor and Acting Head of the Mission.
On December 23, 2007, Dajani was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine to Zimbabwe , and on March 8, 2008 he presented his credentials, and continued in the position until September 16, 2015.
On 17 March 2010, he presented his credentials as non-resident ambassador of the State of Palestine to the State of Malawi , and continued in the position until 16 September 2015.
On September 28, 2015, he was appointed Ambassador of the State of Palestine to South Africa , [3] and presented his credentials on November 26, 2015, and continued in the position until December 1, 2019.
In 2016, he presented his credentials as a non-resident ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Namibia , and to the Kingdom of Lesotho and continued in the position until December 1, 2019.
He has been a member of the Palestinian National Council since April 2018.
In February 2020, he presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine to Ukraine to the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, and in May 2020 he presented them to the Ukrainian President.
