Issa Khairy Issa Al-Jaabari is a Palestinian researcher . He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in jurisprudence and its principles. Interested in public affairs and Islamic movements, intellectually and educationally.
His life
He was born in the city of Hebron in 1966. He completed his studies up to secondary school in the schools of the city of Hebron, and obtained his Tawjihi certificate in 1985. He studied chemical engineering at the University of Jordan , and graduated in 1990. After graduation, he worked in the field of commerce, and took over management.
His family's family business. He joined Al-Quds Open University, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Islamic education . Then he obtained a master’s degree in Islamic jurisprudence and its origins from Al-Quds University - Abu Dis. He was active in the social field, serving as a volunteer member on several boards of directors for charitable organizations. He assumed the position of Minister of Local Government in the tenth Palestinian government, which was headed by Mr. Ismail Haniyeh .
He was imprisoned by the Zionist occupation authorities 9 times, during which he spent about 10 years in prison.
He was appointed Minister of Local Government in the tenth Palestinian government.
On March 26, 2021, the Israeli occupation army arrested him from his home in the city of Hebron .
